Pioneer SG 2.160AT
| 3.2 3.5-INCH DISK DRIVE AT CONFIGURATION |
For IBM PC-AT® and compatibles, a
master/slave relationship must be
established for the hard disk drives on the ATA bus. If only one
hard
drive is installed on the ATA bus, it must be configured as the
master
drive.
If two hard drives are installed on the ATA bus, one must be
configured as the master and the other as a slave.
The drive position on the cable (first or last physical device
on the
cable, for example) has no effect on the master/slave
relationship.

| 3.2.2 Connector 8-Pin Jumper Block |
Typical jumper locations for the Bigfoot CY,
Pioneer SG, and Fireball
ST drives are shown in Figure 3-4. The black jumper body
indicates
that a jumper is installed. |

Jumper Locations
The master/slave jumper configurations are
listed in Table 3-2. Install
jumpers only at the jumper positions called out in Table 3-2. If
a
jumper location called out is none, do not add a jumper. Refer
to the
appropriate product manual for additional jumper information. |
